ECB announces home season details for 2026 summer; India, New Zealand and Pakistan to tour England
The England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) has officially released the full schedule for the 2026 international home season, laying out a blockbuster line-up of fixtures against some of the world’s top cricketing nations. England will play a mix of red-ball and white-ball series across the summer, with high-profile tours from top teams.
Test series against New Zealand to kick off the summer
England’s home campaign will commence with a three-match Test series against New Zealand. The opening Test will be played at the iconic Lord’s Cricket Ground from June 4 to 8. The series will then move to The Kia Oval and Trent Bridge for the remaining two Tests.
India to challenge England in eight white-ball clashes
Following the New Zealand series, England will host India for a highly anticipated white-ball showdown, featuring five T20Is and three ODIs. The T20I series begins on July 1 in Durham and concludes on July 11 in Southampton. The ODI leg follows shortly after, starting on July 14 in Birmingham.
Pakistan to face England in a three-Test battle
England will return to red-ball cricket in late August when they take on Pakistan in a three-Test series. The first Test is set to begin on August 19 in Leeds, followed by matches at Lord’s and Edgbaston.

Sri Lanka to wrap up the summer with white-ball contests
To conclude the summer, England will square off against Sri Lanka in a six-match white-ball series, comprising three T20Is and three ODIs. The action begins on September 15 in Southampton and will stretch till the end of September.
