Skinner did acknowledge that the club will look to bolster numbers during the next transfer window, in early 2026, but believes he has the experience at his disposal to be able to safely navigate a tough-looking test against the Norwegian league leaders.
“I’ve said this before, I know that the fans have been a little bit nervous around the depth and I also understand that we need to do work in the winter window, for sure, to supplement the depth in the team,” he said.
“But the quality in our group is incredible, especially going into these games, we’re relying on the experience we’ve brought in and the experience we already have in the team. It’s going to be vital for us.
“I’m really happy with the quality and experience of the group but we are looking to work to bring players in as we need that depth and quality.”
