5. Mason Mount v Sunderland

4. Mbeumo v Manchester City

3. Dorgu v Newcastle

2. Dorgu v Arsenal

1. Cunha v Arsenal

I’ve gone with Cunha in north London as my number one – it was the biggest goal of the season so far in terms of securing a standout result, and it was also an absolutely fabulous finish. I probably celebrated that one more than any of the other 49 too!

Dorgu is unlucky to be pipped and places second and I’ve also gone for the Dane in the bronze spot too – I feel like people are sleeping on that strike against Newcastle, because the game was generally a struggle, but that was such a difficult connection to pull off. He hadn’t scored for United before that, making it even more impressive.

I feel like long-range screamers grab all the headlines in these types of lists, so I’ve rounded my top five off with a couple of team goals, although they are very different from one another, with Mbeumo’s a clinical counter-attack and Mount putting the gloss on a 17-pass move.
