Clinical Pakistan complete dominant 3-0 whitewash over Australia with thumping win in 3rd T20I

Pakistan wrapped up the Australia tour of Pakistan 2026 in emphatic fashion, registering a massive 111-run victory over Australia in the third T20I at the Gaddafi Stadium. Opting to bat first after winning the toss, Pakistan put on a commanding all-round display to complete a clean 3-0 whitewash, underlining their dominance throughout the series.

Shadab Khan’s explosive knock powers Pakistan to a formidable total

Pakistan posted an imposing 207/6 in their 20 overs, built on solid starts and a destructive finish. After an early wicket, Saim Ayub played with composure and flair, top-scoring with a well-paced 56 off 37 balls, striking six fours and two sixes. Babar Azam anchored the innings expertly, contributing a fluent 50 off 36 deliveries to keep the scoreboard ticking.

The middle and lower order then shifted gears brilliantly. Khawaja Nafay’s quick 21 off 12 added momentum, but it was Shadab Khan who stole the show at the death. His blistering 46 off just 19 balls, featuring five towering sixes, completely unsettled the Australian bowlers. Despite Ben Dwarshuis picking up two wickets and Matthew Kuhnemann maintaining some control, Australia struggled to contain Pakistan’s late onslaught.

Mohammad Nawaz’s 5-fer derails Australian chase

Chasing a steep target of 208, Australia never found their footing and were bowled out for just 96 in 16.5 overs. The top order collapsed early, with Mitchell Marsh and Matthew Short departing cheaply, putting the visitors immediately on the back foot. Cameron Green and Marcus Stoinis attempted to stabilise the innings, scoring 22 and 23 respectively, but regular wickets prevented any sustained recovery.

Pakistan’s bowlers were relentless, maintaining pressure through tight lines and sharp variations. Mohammad Nawaz delivered a sensational spell, claiming 5 wickets for just 18 runs to completely dismantle Australia’s middle and lower order. Shaheen Afridi provided early breakthroughs, while Naseem Shah and Abrar Ahmed chipped in to ensure there was no escape for the visitors.
