The Scot returns as coach of our Under-18s, hoping to follow up victories over Peterborough United and Derby County, in order to set up a home quarter-final tie against either Sunderland or Brighton & Hove Albion.

A superb 3-1 away win at Manchester City on Saturday provided the perfect boost heading into the midweek clash, with Gabriel, Chido Obi and Jim Thwaites on the scoresheet in the derby.

Schoolboy striker Gabriel is now available after having his red card in the Under-18 Premier League Cup win at West Brom overturned, on appeal.
