Federer, Serena Rep Tennis at Super Bowl LX – Tennis Now
Super Bowl LX in Santa Clara felt like a particularly star-studded affair for the tennis world. Leading the charge was Roger Federer, who traded Wimbledon’s perennial rye grass for the sidelines of Levi’s Stadium. Federer was spotted walking the field pregame, drawing massive cheers from fans as he soaked in the atmosphere.
He even talked about his favorite Super Bowl memories, among them the appearance of Michael Jackson at the halftime show, as well as Dr. Dre and Eminem.
The Swiss maestro’s latest appearance at the Super Bowl follows Federer’s notable commercial appearance in 2025 for the Swiss brand On, where he shared a hilarious exchange with Elmo to clear up the confusion over the brand’s logo.

While 20-time major champion Federer watched from a suite, taking in the Seattle Seahawks 29-13 win over the New England Patriots, 23-time Grand Slam champ Serena Williams once again dominated the screen. Starring in a high-profile commercial for the healthcare company Ro, Serena shared a candid look at her personal health journey, discussing the importance of metabolic health. It was a poignant, sleekly produced spot that stood out in a night often defined by slapstick humor.
In recent years, Williams has practically become the event’s unofficial “commercial MVP.” Over the last decade, her presence has shifted from high-octane athlete cameos to poignant brand storytelling.
She starred in two different ads in 2023, and another two in the prior year. She’s been in three Michelob Ultra ads, as well as ads for Remy Martin, Tonal and Bumble.
Tennis fans who were hungry to hear more about Williams’ potential comeback plans for 2026, will have to wait though. No surprise announcement was forthcoming at Super Bowl 60.
