Maguire: New Carrington gives us a fresh start
“We’ve had a bad season last year, so we need to put that behind us and start fresh, and I think the facility is going to help that. It’s really impressive. It’s amazing to be in there. There’s no excuses with the facilities now — they’re amazing, so I’m really pleased to be back.
“I think Sir Jim [Ratcliffe] said in his opening speeches, they’ve done really well to make it on time. We looked at it three months ago and thought, ‘ah, it’s going to be a few months late!’
“But no, really impressed with all. It’s perfect for us to train in and to improve in.”
